It is with great pride and pleasure that we cordially invite you to attend our 5th Annual Shark City Nationals Martial Arts Championship. Each year, the Shark City Nationals weekend presents a unique martial arts experience. The SCN's location, the Majestic Civic Auditorium located in the heart of downtown San Jose is within walking distance from restaurants , brew-pubs, sports bars, movies, theatres, entertainment and shopping. Our centralized location sets the stage for a fun weekend of thrilling competition and activities for everyone.
As your hosts, we are proud to be a part of BASKA (Bay Area Sport Karate Association), The Shark City Nationals brings together the Nations finest officials, competitors, teams, coaches and spectators for a weekend of inspiring performances and the most memorable of good times.
Whether you're a seasoned competitor or a new comer to the art and sport, the Shark City Nationals aims to be your most exciting and enjoyable event this year. We are pleased to offer 350+ divisions, 45+ Grand Champions, over $15,000.00 in awards and cash. We are honored to be continuing the tradition of being the Bay Areas Best Martial Arts Tournament and bringing you the exciting night time show featuring, Shark City Super Fights.

The Civic Auditorium is situated in beautiful downtown San Jose with access to all major freeways, adjacent to the Light Rail Transit System, which connects to the Corporate Corridor and ends at California's Great America, northern California's Biggest amusement park.The hotel is conviently located next door to the tournament site and just three short miles from the San Jose Airport.
